Communism turns 100, but where on Earth is the party?

Communist flag

Google “Oct. 25 Communist anniversary celebration,” and there are some results.

The first is about a meeting, described in a blog, in Minneapolis where the Freedom Road Socialist Organization recently marked the 100th anniversary of the 1917 October revolution in Russia.

Second was from a communist publication about how communists in the “antifa crowd” were marking the day, and third was how North Korea dictator Kim Jong Un remembered the day.

This deteriorated quickly then, with the fourth result a Japan Times article headlined, “No pomp as Russia revolution centenary nears.”

“A hundred years later, Russia still has trouble dealing with its revolutionary past,” the report said.

While during the Soviet years, there were events marking the day, “today the program is far more subdued.”

In fact, a traveler planning a trip to Russia asked on TripAdvisor what events would be going on to mark the Revolution anniversary, and the top response was, “[A]uthorities decided to abstain from massive celebrations due to the divisive nature of the event and unclear official viewpoint.”

Responded one person from Moscow, “You won’t believe it, but quite a few people here would like to know that too!”

Joseph Farah’s newest book, “The Restitution of All Things,” expounds on what few authors dare to approach, the coming kingdom of God. Available at the WND Superstore.

On the website of the Communist Party USA, it appeared there was not a single paragraph about any celebration of the anniversary.

Instead, its profiled issues were “Long Live May Day,” “The African American Liberation Struggle” “and “Remembering James W. Ford.”

It was on that October day that the communists in Russia finally had assembled their power and inflicted communism on the world, a few months after the last czar fled.

Inflicted, because the ideology has been tried over and over on different continents in different nations by many different leaders and the only uniform result has been … death.

Experts suggest that up to 140 million people have been destroyed, mostly by their own governments, under the rabid influences of the ideology.

Professor Paul Kengor, a Ph.D. whose works include “The Crusader: Ronald Reagan and the Fall of Communism” and “11 Principles of a Reagan Conservative,” and who has written for publications ranging from USA Today to the New York Times, told WND, “We should have learned that communism is the deadliest ideology in human history.”

He elaborated: “No ideology has killed as many people. The total deaths in communism governments in the 20th century was between 100 million and 140 million.”

There are other estimates that range near Kengor’s, but they are no less horrific. Harvard estimates about 100 million, as does the Epoch times. Quora guesses at 94 million. The University of Hawaii says 100 million.

Kengor said many of the lower figures likely underestimate those killed by Mao in China, and by the Kim clan in North Korea.

“I think we can safely say the death toll from communism probably is double the combined death toll of World War I and World War II,’ he said.

President Reagan, he noted, once referred to communism as a “disease,” but he said he’s been unable to identify any disease with such a record of killing.

He said it’s more likely a form of “insanity,” “when you consider the political pathology.”

The problem, he explained, is “education, education, education.”

Today’s society is simply not taught the dangers and damages from communism.

Leftist influences, he said, instead, praise the concepts and practices, even if they don’t call it communism anymore.

Those are issues such as “economic equality” and “workers’ rights” and more.

William Murray, author of “The Utopian Road to Hell,” noted communism “is not the only utopian villain of the 20th century.”

“The madness that drives individuals and sometimes entire societies to seek utopian solutions inevitably ends in failure, usually at great human cost…. The national socialism of Adolf Hitler was also based on a system of central planning …”

He continued, “As I detailed in my 2016 book, ‘The Utopian Road to Hell,’ the centrally planned attempts at Utopian government during the 20th century resulted in hundreds of millions of deaths and the imprisonment and torture of millions more. Most of the deaths were not caused in war, but by the governments themselves as their failed economic model forced entire societies into near or actual slavery.

“More people died at the hands of their own communist governments in the 20th century than died in all the wars in all the history of mankind,” he said.

Joseph Farah, WND founder and CEO, explains he was a “former small-c communist:”

“It’s amazing how little attention the 100th anniversary of Red October and the birth of the Soviet Union is getting this year. Some 60 million or more were murdered by this regime. Even the left doesn’t celebrate this nightmarish historical reality, nor talk about it. What that suggests to me is we haven’t really learned the critical hard lessons of communism. What an opportunity we have to make people understand there was another holocaust – one even bigger and longer than the Nazi Holocaust. Our motto should be the same: Never again,” said Farah, author of “The Restitution of All Things.”

At the site, “The tremendous impact of the Russian October Revolution was due to one irrefutable fact: the working class, for the first time in history, had captured state power and used it to overthrow the existing order and transform society and existing social relations.”

The site blames the later “rise of Stalinism” for the “eventual collapse.”

“Re-reading the writings of Lenin, Trotsky, and John Reed on the Russian Revolution one finds ideas that seem very modern when we consider the tasks workers and youth face today,” the organization said. “We are confident that this generation will see its own October, learn the lessons of the past, and move to fulfill the destiny that the Russian workers … left unfinished.”

It was Vladmir Lenin who, with his “leftist revolutionaries” assembled a mob, occupied government buildings and other strategic locations “and soon formed a new government,” in which Lenin “became the dictator,” 100 years ago.

WND-20-YearsKodak fires man over anti-‘gay’ stance

Oct. 24, 2002: WND reported how a 23-year veteran of the Eastman Kodak Co. was fired after objecting to a pro-homosexual memo from the film giant.

“Please do not send this type of information to me anymore, as I find it disgusting and offensive,” said Rolf Szabo.

Kodak responded with its own memo, stating: “Rolf’s comments are hurtful to our employees, friends and family members who are gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgendered. This behavior is not aligned with the Kodak Values and, therefore, is not acceptable.”

A spokesman for Kodak told WND: “Every possible definition of diversity is embraced by Kodak. This is a company that does not take these matters lightly.”

Global meatpacking giant goes all in for refugee labor

A Lutheran resettlement agency that places United Nations refugees into dozens of U.S. cities and towns is working with the world’s largest meatpacking conglomerate to train refugees for work in four American states while also softening up the local natives to be more “welcoming.”

The secretive pilot program between Baltimore-based Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service and the U.S. subsidiary of JBS Swift aims to pump more refugees into Georgia, Texas, Iowa and Michigan to work in the company’s meat plants. If successful, the pilot program could be renewed for a second year and replicated at JBS meat plants across the U.S., WND has learned.

See an interactive map of JBS Swift meat plants in the United States.

JBS Swift, the Brazilian-based global meat-processing giant, has agreed to pay Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services, or LIRS, $155,000 to implement the pilot program over the next year in the four states, according to a draft of the partnership agreement obtained by WND from a person with inside knowledge of the deal.

“The shock here is to find out that a religious agency is being paid by a foreign global corporation to train refugees and ultimately transform the demographics of small towns in America’s heartland,” said Ann Corcoran, an expert on the international movement of refugees and the nine volunteer agencies that resettle them for the U.S. Department of State.

Since the targeted demographic is meatpacking towns, which tend to be located in small towns – that’s a direct hit against Republican congressmen and President Donald Trump, said Corcoran.

“Trump was elected president by rural and semi-rural America,” she said. “The major urban centers all went for Hillary Clinton, so every Republican voter should be concerned about what the meatpacking industry is doing here, trying to import the Third World and more Democrat voters into rural America.”

Trump has slowed the influx of refugees to about half the level seen under President Obama, but he has been unable to dismantle the resettlement industry, which will be primed to crank right back up as soon as a Democrat or globalist Republican takes over the White House.

Trump is allowing 45,000 refugees to arrive on U.S. soil over the next 12 months, compared to 85,000 during Obama’s last full year in office.

The deal between the global meat producer JBS and the Lutheran agency has been dubbed “Rebuilding Dreams,” and is described in the draft document as a “grant and collaboration agreement” between JBS USA and LIRS in the four states.

“The primary goal of this agreement is to improve the capacity of JBS USA and local resettlement agencies to support and improve the hiring and retention of refugee employees at four pilot sites in Michigan, Texas, Iowa, and Georgia,” according to the document.

The following are the cities in those states where JBS has meatpacking plants:

  1. Iowa – Council Bluffs, Marshalltown and Ottumwa, mostly pork production
  2. Michigan – Plainwell, mostly beef
  3. Georgia – Elberton, Douglas, Athens, Ellijay, Canton and Carrollton, mostly chicken
  4. Texas – Waco, Lufkin, Nacogdoches, Pittsburg and Mount Pleasant, mostly chicken

Rebuilding Dreams will achieve this goal by creating customized trainings and resources for key stakeholders, building stronger relationships through communications and technology platforms, enhancing the collection and evaluation of data, and improving the overall quality and culture of the workplace experience for refugee employees,” the agreement states.

The agreement also calls for improving the local “welcoming culture” in the cities where the refugees will be placed.

Part of United Nations agenda for sustainability

JBS is a transnational, global corporation that beats the United Nations “sustainability” drum on its website, and it also cashes in on the globalized “labor mobility” concept pushed by the U.N.’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Under the 2030 Agenda, approved by President Obama and 190 other world leaders in September 2015, citizens of underdeveloped countries in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East are seen as “human capital” to be shifted around the world like pieces on a chess board. As migrants they are granted U.N. “rights” to access everything from jobs to affordable healthcare, affordable transportation and housing in wealthy Western nations.

Learn about the Islamization of American cities through refugee resettlement in the book former Congresswoman Michele Bachmann is calling the most important read of 2017, “Stealth Invasion: Muslim Conquest through Immigration and Resettlement Jihad.”

The pilot-program deal between the Lutheran agency LIRS and JBS was signed in late August and plans are to eventually roll it out to all 100-plus U.S. meat plants operated by JBS.

Another deal between Lutherans and Tyson Foods

WND was informed by the insider source that LIRS has inked another partnership deal with Tyson Foods, a major poultry producer, to provide “financial literacy” classes to Tyson employees, starting with a pilot program in northwest Arkansas/Missouri.

“We want to formally congratulate your team on an exceptional proposal,” Tyson told LRIS in an email forwarded to WND. “In particular, we were impressed with the cultural and gender sensitivities it included, the overall structure of your pilot, and the local partnership networks you were able to identify. We were also encouraged to learn about your organizational experience working with one of our major competitors – JBS.

Brad Sievers, in charge of human resources for the Greeley, Colorado-based JBS USA, did not return repeated calls to his office Friday and Monday.

Nina Zelic, director of refugee services for Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service, who worked to consummate the deals with JBS and Tyson, also did not return phone calls from WND seeking comment.

This is not the first time JBS has used a church group to help it snag foreign labor in a small town. JBS has been partnering with a United Methodist Church in Plainwell, Michigan, since 2014. The church works through the Lutheran placement agency to help find housing and English tutoring for refugees in that small town, where JBS operates a beef plant.

Rev. Kathy Brown of Plainwell United Methodist told her local newspaper of a 2015 sermon she shared with her church about Jesus reaching out to others, sometimes in unexpected ways.

“I reminded the congregation that last fall we expected to welcome Burmese Christians and got Sudanese Muslims,” the Methodist pastor said. “The blessing God gave us is not the one we prepared for.”

“Who would have thought that God would call little Plainwell, not exactly the most multi-cultural community in the world, to this great ministry?” Brown concludes. “But that’s what happens with constant prayer, careful listening, and being open to whatever God gives.”

The gradual increase in refugees entering the United States from the Islamic world over the past 35 years has long been tied to Democratic machine politics. The Obama administration was blamed for using refugees to bolster the Democratic voting base in red states such as Texas, Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee.

While that may be true, the Republican and Chamber of Commerce roles have been just as supportive, if less understood, of refugee resettlement. Executives from food giants Cargill, Hormel, JBS and Tyson Foods all donate generously to politicians in both parties, which may explain why Congress has never taken a serious look at the refugee program to find out its overall impact on American cities from a financial, political or cultural perspective.

The nine volunteer agencies that directly benefit financially from the refugee influx are allowed to also lobby Congress and the White House for more refugees, something many critics say is a blatant conflict of interest that should be banned.

Now, for the first time, critics of open-borders, globalist policies have evidence of a direct financial link between a resettlement agency, which is supposed to be a religious charity, and foreign-based corporate titans seeking cheap foreign labor to replace Americans in the workplace, said Corcoran, who blogs at Refugee Resettlement Watch.

“We’ve always suspected there was a link but thought it was much more informal,” Corcoran told WND. “I never envisioned the meatpacking companies were actually paying the refugee contractors to train refugees to work in their plants.”

Corcoran said so-called Big Meat – the handful of massive corporations that resulted from years of consolidation – has been exploiting refugee labor since the mid-1990s when President Bill Clinton’s administration sent Bosnian Muslim refugees to work in meat plants in Tennessee. And they’ve been transforming small-town America ever since.

‘Flipping’ a small town on its head

A very small town like Noel, Missouri, or Lexington, Nebraska, can be “flipped” in as little as 10 years, transforming a 90-plus percent native Christian community into a diverse mix of African and Asian enclaves, mostly Muslim by faith.

Take the case of tiny Noel, which went from a sleepy little tourist town of 1,000 people on the Elk River to a city nearly double that size after Tyson Foods opened a chicken plant there and started hiring African refugees in the early 2000s.

By 2010, between about 500 Somali refugees and 60 to 70 Sudanese refugees made up the town’s 1,800 residents. Most of the new arrivals were sent there to work for Tyson Foods. In 2011, 130 Muslim employees stopped working temporarily after they were discouraged from praying five times a day by Tyson managers. Tyson Foods later released a statement dismissing the controversy as a cross-cultural “unfortunate misunderstanding” created by language barriers, according to an article in the Joplin Globe.

A mosque was established in 2009, and an African grocery store opened on Main Street in 2010 selling headscarves, halal meats and colorful rugs. In 2017, the town’s mayor, John Lafley, said the Muslim refugees, “want to practice their Sharia law here, and that’s one thing the city won’t tolerate.”

A few years ago, a military aircraft circled the town for a full day without explanation, a man who has relatives in the area and has been a frequent visitor to Noel told WND.

“That incident was completely covered up. No facts ever emerged. We heard rumors that two of the Somalis were engaged in making bombs. The Army caught them and took them away. Martial law for a day, in a small Missouri town,” said John Oglesbee in an email to WND. “Schools were locked down, all traffic stopped. Possible terror activity. No mention, at all, in any news outlet.”

Oglesbee said the town has lost many quality businesses, including a a popular restaurant, in recent years.

“One of the finest small restaurants, with a real four-star chef, used to be in downtown Noel. The last time I was in there, we were the only customers,” he said. “A Somali business had been opened next door, and they guarded the space to such a degree that no customers chanced the fine restaurant anymore.”

He said a few Somali teens have tried to leave the closed, “hostile society,” in an effort to become Americanized.

“They’ve been taken in by residents of nearby towns, where they are protected,” he said. “I know of one girl who converted to Christianity, lives with a Christian family, and can now attend high school in [another city] in Missouri. The story of this Somali girl is one of horror. She lives in fear of her previous, actual family, and of other Somalis. I’m certain you’re aware of [Islamic] honor killings.”

Noel is a testament to the federal government’s destructive globalist policies and corporate greed, Oglesbee said. A once-vibrant town, in a beautiful setting with a tourist industry that stretches back over a hundred years, is now a place nobody wants to live.

Many local people “won’t even drive through there anymore,” he said.

Tiny Michigan town in the crosshairs

A similar transformation is underway in little Plainwell, Michigan, where JBS operates a plant. Refugees have begun arriving over the past five or six years from abroad. First it was persecuted Christians from Burma, which nobody seemed to mind because they mixed well and assimilated into the community. But more recently, the refugees being brought in by Lutheran Social Services were Sudanese Muslims who are coming from U.N. camps in Chad and Libya.

The Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services, whose top eight executives all bring home salaries of between $112,000 and $300,000, has profited greatly from its ties to global meat packers.

Meat plants in particular, and the food-processing industry in general, have long been a gateway into the United States for Third Worlders looking for a better economic lot in life. Chobani serves as a similar conduit with its massive yogurt plant in Twin Falls, Idaho.

“Big Yogurt has learned from Big Meat,” Corcoran said.

Meatpacking once provided middle-class American jobs

The U.S. meatpacking industry has largely replaced its U.S. workers, first with Mexicans in the 1970s and 1980s, and then with Africans and Asians in the 1990s and early 2000s.

Over a period of about 20 years, the industry went from being one of the highest-paid manufacturing industries to one of the lowest.

“People would stand in line for these jobs because they actually paid a living wage,” says Corcoran, who went on a tour of meatpacking towns throughout the West and Midwest in the summer of 2016 to find out how refugee labor was being exploited while transforming small town America into Islamic enclaves.

The following are the nine federal contractors that resettle U.N. refugees, and the extent to which they are funded by federal tax dollars.

  • Church World Service, (part of National Council of Churches) 71 percent funded by taxpayers
  • Ethiopian Community Development Council, 93 percent funded by taxpayers
  • Episcopal Migration Ministries, 99.5 percent funded by taxpayers
  • Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, 57 percent funded by taxpayers
  • International Rescue Committee (secular), 66.5 percent funded by taxpayers
  • U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (secular), 98 percent funded by taxpayers
  • Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services, 95 percent funded by taxpayers
  • United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, 97 percent funded by taxpayers
  • World Relief Corp., an arm of the National Association of Evangelicals, 73 percent funded by taxpayers

Any so-called “private” charity that receives more than half of its revenue from the feds is essentially a quasi-governmental organization and should not be allowed to lobby Congress or the White House, Corcoran said.

But the money doesn’t stop there. These nine contractors subcontract with a network of more than 365 other agencies working in communities nationwide under various names. They have names like Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan, Lutheran Family Services Nebraska, Samaritas of Michigan, Softlanding Montana, Global Detroit, and Lutheran Social Services Minnesota.

Here is a state-by-state list of agencies that subcontract with Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service, which is just one of the nine primary federal contractors working to bring refugees to your town:

‘Holy cow, we’ve lost our culture’

Broken flag

Western civilization is thoroughly battered in Europe, and America is on course for the same fate unless it once again embraces the ideas that made it strong and resists the tide of progressive momentum that seeks to destroy it, according to Sovereign Nations founder and editor in chief Michael O’Fallon.

Sovereign Nations is hosting a three-day conference in the nation’s capital next week designed to highlight the threats to the founding principles and how to thwart them. The conference will be held at the Trump International Hotel from Oct. 30-Nov. 1.

O’Fallon told WND and Radio America that he started Sovereign Nations as he watched America turn against the very things that made it strong.

“I imagine most [people] have noticed that there are things around them, especially in the last eight to 10 years, that just don’t make sense. What was once heresy is now law and what was once law is now heresy.

“When we take a look at things that were accepted in the United States, the things that held us together, the glue that really kept our civilization together, those things are now being turned and looked at as if they are things and signs of oppression,” O’Fallon said.

Get the hottest, most important news stories on the Internet – delivered FREE to your inbox as soon as they break! Take just 30 seconds and sign up for WND’s Email News Alerts!

And what are some of those things?

“The way we raise our children, the basis of America in self-government in the family, those things are now looked upon as being controlling, oppressive, not the way that people can truly have freedom, things that need to be thought through and possibly done away with,” he said. “So everything that really keeps our society together as we know it is quickly being extinguished.”

Listen to the WND/Radio America interview with Michael O’Fallon:

O’Fallon said this is all a result of a carefully planned onslaught from the intellectual left.

“That cause of things we believe to be rooted in what is known as progressivism that is backed by Open Society Foundations – more commonly known is the name of George Soros, which keeps coming up again and again. Certainly, he would be at the source of that,” O’Fallon said.

But how? How can someone like leftist billionaire George Soros and his allies really implement so much change?

O’Fallon said the first powerful tool is what Soros calls the theory of reflexivity.

“It’s creating an atmosphere of transmission and acceptance of either true or false statements in order to fulfill a manipulative function,” said O’Fallon, who explained that the tactic morphs into what are known as “fertile fallacies.”

“We know a fallacy is something that’s not true, but it’s fertile in that maybe it’s not true but it’s got legs. It’s a great story. It’s going to go someplace,” he said.

He said the cumulative impact of this strategy on multiple economic, cultural and international fronts is aimed toward the ultimate goal of undermining the philosophical foundations of the United States.

“The target, in and of itself, is to destroy anything that makes us a sovereign nation with the ability to have self-governance,” O’Fallon explained. “The citizens of this country are the ones that determine what this country does by making sure that we are within the frames of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.”

O’Fallon said the current attempts to blur the lines on citizenship by allowing non-citizens to vote and being lax on the enforcement of immigration laws is a direct attack on the right of citizens to rule, and he said killing that nation is the greatest tool the progressives have.

“All of these things are tools to break down and mold this world in a way that they would desire it – and when I say ‘they,’ there’s a big ‘they’ there – in a way to not have us to be able to say, ‘That’s unconstitutional. That needs to go to the Supreme Court.’ We need to make sure that we look at things as the U.S. as apart from the rest of the world,” O’Fallon said.

He said America needs to wake up fast because it may already be too late for Europe.

“The same thing is happening in Europe,” he said. “People are just waking up to the fact that, holy cow, we’ve lost our culture. And that, sadly, is happening here as well.”

Get the hottest, most important news stories on the Internet – delivered FREE to your inbox as soon as they break! Take just 30 seconds and sign up for WND’s Email News Alerts!

O’Fallon blames “progressive” Republicans and Democrats for trying to stop President Trump from strengthening American sovereignty. He said the GOP is split between defenders of the Constitution and lawmakers behind the Gang of Eight immigration plan and other “globalist” initiatives.

He has even harsher words for the Democrats, whom O’Fallon believes need a new party name.

“They just need to come straight out and say, ‘We are globalist progressives’ at this point. What people joined 30, 40, 50 years ago with the Democrat Party, it doesn’t even resemble it at this point,” O’Fallon said.

“They have become a party that is wanting to quickly take us out of our sovereignty and put us into a situation where we could have something that’s very much like a global E.U. very soon.

“They are the party of eugenics,” O’Fallon said. “They are the party of attacking our sovereignty. They are the party that is always looking to obstruct.”

School demands Republicans ante up for security

UCLA has warned campus Republicans that they will have to pay for security for a speech planned by a conservative commentator, but officials don’t know the total yet.

The only thing they DO know is that the students won’t be able to pay.

Sound suspiciously like an orchestrated strategy to shut down a speaker – because of his viewpoint?

That’s what the experts at the Alliance Defending Freedom are concerned about, as they have written to school officials contesting the imposition of unknown fees.

“As the U.S. Supreme Court has made very clear, public universities can’t enact policies that effectively stifle free speech just because administrators fear protesters might show up,” said ADF Senior Counsel Tyson Langhofer.

“The reason for that is simple: Speech isn’t free if all it takes to silence it is for someone else to object. The high court has specifically stated that security fees, such as the ones at UCLA, aren’t constitutionally permissible.”

Scott Greer has released “No Campus for White Men: The Transformation of Higher Education into Hateful Indoctration,” now at the WND Superstore.

The organization’s letter to school officials explains, “The Supreme Court has said, ‘[s]peech cannot be financially burdened, any more than it can be punished or banned, simply because it might offend a hostile mob.’ Imposing security fees based on the perspective offered by Bruin Republicans and its speaker is viewpoint discrimination. Thus, the university is violating Bruin Republicans’ First Amendment rights.”

The ADF letter went to Chancellor Gene Block in Los Angeles.

And it was prompted because the school “assessed security fees for an expressive event scheduled for November 13, 2017.”

“We ask that you immediately rescind the decision to assess the fees and correct the unconstitutional policy that permitted this discrimination,” it said.

The campus organization is trying to hold a speech by Ben Shapiro, a prominent conservative commentator and UCLA alumnus. He wants to speak on “Rise of Campus Fascism.”

Work was under way to set up the event when school officials abruptly told the campus group its members would have to pay for security.

“The university explained that it chose to assess security costs on Bruin Republicans based on the university’s evaluation of the campus climate and anticipated reactions towards Shapiro and his speech.”

The ADF said the school blamed the “campus climate and anticipated reactions toward Shapiro.”

The letter continues, “In short, the [school’s] contract provides that if at least 70 percent of the attendees at the event are students, faculty or staff of UCLA, then the university will cover the costs of security. Otherwise, Bruin Republicans are required to pay the entire costs of Security.

“And its individual officers will be personally responsible for such costs,” the letter said.

Further, the school “has not provided an estimate of the security costs but has stated that they will be substantial and that there is ‘no way’ that Bruin Republicans will be able to afford the entire costs,” the letter said.

There are several constitutional failings, however, in the plan, including the already recognized and already unconstitutional “unbridled discretion” held by school officials.

That simply means that don’t apply their policy uniformly, and the letter notes they haven’t.

“Since the policy was enacted more than 8 years ago and the university has more than 1,200 student organizations that host thousands of events every year, the policy should have been applied to tens of thousands of events … yet, astoundingly, the university has applied the …. policy only four previous times.”

“Instead of applying the policy as written, the university exercises complete discretion in deciding whether to apply the policy to a student group’s event,” the ADF letter explains. “In fact, Mike Cohn, director of student organizations … acknowledged that the policy had been ‘dormant’ for a while. But like a ghoul in the night, the university decided to resurrect the policy so that it can haunt its favorite target, Bruin Republicans, because the university has determined that other members of the campus community may object to the content and viewpoint to be expressed at the event.”

The letter pointed out that UCLA, just a few years ago, paid Hillary Clinton $300,000 to speak.

“Here, the university assessed the security fees based on the viewpoint of Bruin Republicans’ event and speaker,” the letter continues. “Mr. Cohn is requiring Bruin Republicans, and its officers, to agree to pay some unspecified amount – which he acknowledges will be so large that they will be unable to pay – because Shapiro’s topics and views are controversial. The university’s policies and practices authorize the university to assess security fees based on the controversial nature of the activity and listeners’ potential reactions.”

The letter asks the school to rescind the security fees that have been assessed, and affirm the students will not be ordered to sign a contract.

Bannon credits Trump for defeating ISIS

WASHINGTON – Stephen Bannon, former adviser to Donald Trump, says the president has done more to defeat radical Islam and ISIS extremism already than all of his predecessors.

Last week the Kurdish-led, U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces announced that the Syrian city of Raqqa was liberated from ISIS.

The liberation of Raqqa, where ISIS militants carried out many of their gruesome executions and used the city hospital as a command center, is a major milestone in the war against the Islamic State, Bannon explained Monday during the Hudson Institute’s “Countering Violent Extremism: Qatar, Iran, and the Muslim Brotherhood” conference in Washington.

“What’s happened in the last nine months – President Trump has accomplished something that I think people would have laughed and mocked at in the campaign. Raqqa fell the other day. The physical destruction of the ISIS caliphate, which shocked the world on its rapid rise, and I think put the world back on its heels,” the Breitbart executive said. “It was breathtaking, the whole world kind of backed off.”

But in less than a year, President Trump’s strategy, executed by Gen. James Mattis, the secretary of Defense, is forcing jihadists around the globe to retreat, Bannon said.

“That strategy was not a war of attrition, it was very specific from day one, this will be a war of annihilation. We will physically annihilate the caliphate, and that’s what’s been accomplished,” he said.

Trump created the conditions for better relations in the Middle East by warning U.S. allies there against funding terrorism, during an Arab Islamic American Summit he held in Riyadh in May, Bannon argued.

“We went into the summit with UAE and Saudi Arabia and others, and the number one thing is that we must take care of this financing of radical Islam and there can be no more – as President Trump says – ‘no more games’ – you can’t have it both ways, you can’t on one side say you are a friend and an ally and on the other side be financing Hamas,” he said.

In the worst diplomatic crisis to hit Gulf Arab states in decades, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates broke off relations with Qatar in June. The three gulf countries and Egypt accused Qatar of supporting terrorism and destabilizing the region.

Bannon’s comments:

Bannon said that break was because of Trump’s leadership.

“I don’t think it’s just by happenstance, that two weeks after that summit you saw the blockade by the United Emirates and … Bahrain, Egypt and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on Qatar,” he said. “I’ve said from day one, even in the situation in the Northwest Pacific, Korea, I think the single most important thing happening in the world is the situation in Qatar.”

Bannon refuted the notion that the president, his administration and his supporters are “Islamophobes.”

“Trump’s speech at the summit was one of the greatest any political leader in the United States has ever given. It put to bed, or should have put to bed, that President Trump is an Islamophobe, or that somehow his administration and the people that work for him, particularly ‘the deplorables’ and the people that voted for him, did not want an active engagement with the Islamic world,” he said. “Understanding that as partners, that we’d have to go through this time together. And as partners, we’d have to work together and the world would be a safer and more robust and vibrant.”

Bannon argued an “America First” policy is not premised on isolationism, but in fostering diplomatic relations that are mutually beneficial to the sovereignty and national security U.S. and its allies.

“This whole thing of America first being isolationist – where it’s us against the world is – I just think it’s total nonsense. [Trump] looks at the world in a different way. I think that President Trump looks at things as a Jacksonian – what’s in the vital national security interest of the United States is what you should commit to,” he said. “In those areas of the world, which are in the vital national security interests of the United States, you will have partners that will be in their vital national security interests also in that you work with the Northwest Pacific, with Japan and South Korea, or whether it’s in the Gulf, with people like the UAE and Saudi Arabia and Egypt and Bahrain.

“I don’t think there is anything that President Trump has done that makes us look isolationist at all. He doesn’t want to get arrangements like TPP [Trans Pacific Partnership] – where we are just another person at the table and not something that we know is in or vital national security interests.”

Trump believes the fundamental reason he defeated Hillary Clinton is because the American people, who are fed up with establishment politicians, trust him to handle the war on terror at a time when ISIS was establishing “slave markets” and the Obama administration forged the Iran deal, Bannon said.

“President Trump strongly believed that the reason he was on the podium on January 20th and Hillary Clinton wasn’t, was that it came down to a decision of the American people on who would be the best commander-in-chief in a time of war,” he said. “One of the things that President Trump, and candidate Trump at the time, remembered is that, we’re now fighting –the longest war in the nation’s history. I think in actual combat time, it’s longer than the Revolution, the Civil War, WWI and WWII. I think if you add it all up, in actual time in combat this is the longest sustained military combat we’ve ever had.”

Despite Clinton’s extensive political background and foreign policy experience, Trump’s candidness ultimately resonated with Americans, Bannon argued.

“President Trump could not have been more blunt, more direct and spoken in a more plain vernacular to the American people about what he wanted to accomplish,” he said. “His whole candidacy, from the very beginning, when he came down that escalator in Trump Tower, was a repudiation of the elites, the repudiation of the foreign policy establishment.”

Bannon continued, “A repudiation of the concept we’ve had of this rule-based international order in which the American working class and middle class underwrite with their taxes, and more importantly with the blood of their children.

“One of the strongest things [Clinton] had going for her when she was running was her foreign policy experience – her time on the Senate Armed Services Committee, her time as secretary of State, her vast knowledge of all the ins and outs of the minutia of foreign policy,” he continued. “Remember at that time … we were seeing a rise of ISIS that really had caught the world by surprise. ISIS had done more than anybody, even the Muslim Brotherhood historically, in actually having a physical caliphate. Eventually, that caliphate was seven or eight million people.”

Parents ‘livid’ over graphic middle school sex-ed

WASHINGTON – Parents are outraged after discovering their children were being taught about “mutual masturbation” and “anal sex” in their Oklahoma public middle school.

Students in Jay, Oklahoma, were given sex-ed handouts from Lighthouse Pregnancy Center teaching that there are “four types of sex.”

The graphic sex lesson handouts were culled from a program called “Shape, Sexual Health Awareness Prevention and Education.”

According to Oklahoma’s KWTV News, the superintendent said that the curriculum this “lesson” comes from is being used by several other area school districts.

Concerned parent Mandy Callihan called attention to the graphic junior high school lesson plan on Facebook.

See what American education has become, in “Crimes of the Educators: How Utopians Are Using Government Schools to Destroy America’s Children.”

“Her father and I were (and still are) LIVID.

“Yes, Jake and I contacted the school immediately (the teacher, the principal, the counselor, and the school nurse) We were told that ‘pamphlets’ were sent home a week ago letting parents know that they were going to be discussing sex education,” Callihan wrote.

“We never saw a pamphlet….so we didn’t have the opportunity to get her out of the class before it started. Signatures for permission were NOT required, but you could opt out (depending on who you talk too, because we got different answers on the permission part). This ‘pamphlet’ they keep talking about tells me a couple of things…..mainly that we have educators, and administrators, in our school system that need to be educated on how to properly let parents know about such a touchy and personal subject…”

Another parent in Jay said she is a proponents of sex education, but the explicit nature of the handout crossed the line.

“I was a little taken aback and disgusted I was like … I was taken back,” seventh-grade parent Stacy Gough told Oklahoma local affiliate News9. “I don’t think types of sex that you can have is actually appropriate in a sex education class … he [her son] said, ‘Mom, it’s like instead of them telling us how to not do it, it’s like they gave us a road map.‘”

The principal of the middle school in Jay Public Schools did not return request for comment, nor did the Lighthouse Pregnancy Resource Center.

Jay Supt. Kenneth Bridges told News On 6 that he “had no knowledge of the program” and that “It is being (and has been) used by at least five other school districts in our area including Grove Public Schools for five years.”

School districts across the country repeatedly have attempted to implement graphic sex-ed programs in their middle school curriculum, but often have been stopped by angry parents.

In North Carolina’s Cumberland County a program for pre-teens was suspended after hundreds of parents complained.

The sex-ed program, called “Get Real,” was created by scandal-ridden Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider which faces allegations of profiteering from the sale of late-term aborted baby parts, child sex abuse, and Medicaid fraud.

The focus of the program is to teach children about sexual preference, contraception and how to use condoms, as well as LGBTQ terminology.

Monica Leal Cline, a former HIV health educator for a Planned Parenthood affiliate, recently revealed in a video exposé that Planned Parenthood officials instructed her, “Parents are a barrier to service. We don’t want parents involved.”

The Cumberland County Board of Education halted the “Get Real” program in light of parental concerns.

“I don’t need somebody else teaching my kids, as they put it in there, ‘the myths and facts about your sexuality.’ That’s something the parents need to do,” parent Nick Quello told WRAL. “I just don’t think that’s appropriate for a 12-year-old, whether it be a boy or a girl, to be teaching them that.”

Limbaugh reveals theory on secret reason for Mueller probe

Rush Limbaugh

Rush Limbaugh

There’s finally real evidence in the big Russia scandal, and rather than implicating President Trump, it shows the Clintons and former President Obama colluded with Russia to sell American uranium and, in doing so, compromised U.S. national security.

That’s why Special Counsel Robert Mueller is on the case, according to talk-radio kingpin Rush Limbaugh.

Mueller is actually working to protect top Democrats who were involved in the scandalous uranium deal, Limbaugh said during his Monday show.

“I have a whole theory about what the Mueller investigation really is …” Limbaugh said. “[O]ne of the objectives of the Mueller investigation is to protect anybody and everybody that had anything to do with this Clinton-Obama-Russian uranium deal.”

The whole investigation led by Mueller – the man who served as FBI director during the agency’s Russian uranium probe – is not just an effort to “find anything impeachable on Trump,” he explained.

“I think that they’re taking advantage of the opportunity to shield and prevent any investigation or knowledge of what really went on, because that uranium thing, we’ve all, up ’til now, considered it a Hillary and Bill Clinton and Russian deal where the Clintons personally profited from brokering the sale of a percentage of our uranium supply to Russia. … None of it could have happened without the involvement of Obama, and so you couple that with the inescapable conclusion that the collusion story has moved off of Trump colluding with Russia.”

After many months, Limbaugh noted, “they don’t have a shred of evidence on Trump” to show he colluded with Russia in an effort to influence the 2016 election.

“When I learned that they were looking 10 to 15 years back into Trump’s business history, things that have nothing to do with him as a candidate for anything or as president – and knowing that these are all swamp dwellers, they’re all establishment types, and [Mueller] has got 16 Clintonistas and Obamaistas on his staff – it was paramountly obvious. It was manifest that this guy was doing the work of the establishment to get rid of Trump or to try to,” Limbaugh continued.

“There’s no evidence on this Russia collusion thing. There isn’t any, after all of this. And believe me, if there were, it have been leaked the day they found it. There isn’t any, and yet they’re still out there looking.”

The Daily Caller reported in September that at least nine attorneys on Mueller’s team have given Democrats nearly $65,000 in contributions.

In June, President Trump weighed in on the conflicting interests, tweeting: “You are witnessing the single greatest WITCH HUNT in American political history – led by some very bad and conflicted people!”

Limbaugh claimed even the FBI’s pre-dawn raid on the home of former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort in August was a telling display of “Obamaista” tactics meant to “scare the hell out of everybody in the family.”

“I have since learned that that is a technique of one of the investigators on Mueller’s staff [Andrew Weissmann] who is a dyed-in-the-wool Obamaista, I think, and a prosecutor,” he said. “[I]t’s one of his favored intimidation techniques to storm a subject’s house while everybody is asleep with the equivalent of a SWAT team, which is how they went into Manafort’s house.”

FEC records reveal Weissmann donated $2,300 to Obama’s 2008 campaign and $2,000 to the Democratic National Committee in 2006. As a federal prosecutor in the eastern district of New York for 15 years, Weissmann prosecuted mafia members and bosses from the Colombo, Gambino and Genovese families, according to Business Insider.

In a National Review column Saturday, former top federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy pointed the finger directly at the Obama administration’s role in the uranium scandal:

The Clintons were just doing what the Clintons do: cashing in on their “public service.” The Obama administration, with Secretary Clinton at the forefront but hardly alone, was knowingly compromising American national-security interests. The administration green-lighted the transfer of control over one-fifth of American uranium-mining capacity to Russia, a hostile regime — and specifically to Russia’s state-controlled nuclear-energy conglomerate, Rosatom. Worse, at the time the administration approved the transfer, it knew that Rosatom’s American subsidiary was engaged in a lucrative racketeering enterprise that had already committed felony extortion, fraud, and money-laundering offenses.

The Obama administration also knew that congressional Republicans were trying to stop the transfer. Consequently, the Justice Department concealed what it knew. DOJ allowed the racketeering enterprise to continue compromising the American uranium industry rather than commencing a prosecution that would have scotched the transfer. Prosecutors waited four years before quietly pleading the case out for a song, in violation of Justice Department charging guidelines. Meanwhile, the administration stonewalled Congress, reportedly threatening an informant who wanted to go public.

As WND reported Monday, Mueller’s probe has reportedly expanded to the Democratic lobbying firm run by Tony Podesta, the brother of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign manager John Podesta. Also Monday came news that an FBI informant was blocked from testifying of Russian efforts to influence the Clintons and the Obama administration regarding the sale of Uranium One to a Moscow-controlled company, which effectively gave the Russians control of 20 percent of U.S. uranium reserves.

The Podesta Group has a tie to Uranium One, having received $180,000 from the company to lobby Hillary Clinton’s State Department, according to Open Secrets. The New York Times reported in April 2016 that “as the Russians gradually assumed control of Uranium One in three separate transactions from 2009 to 2013, Canadian records show, a flow of cash made its way to the Clinton Foundation.”

On Monday, Limbaugh pointed to Sunday’s “misleading” New York Times headline “Hope dims for congressional Russia inquiries as parties clash,” charging that the mainstream media “have a vested interest in the outcome of this, since it’s their buddies – Obama, Mueller, the Clintons – involved in this.”

“They’re trying to tell us that the Russia investigation in Congress is in trouble because the parties are clashing,” he explained. “That’s not why it’s in trouble. It’s in trouble because there is dwindling hope of finding any evidence of collusion, because there isn’t any of collusion between Trump and Russia. I think they’re finding something else, or I think they’ve known about something else before they even started this. I’m beginning to think that one of the reasons that this whole special counsel was named …

“Because [Deputy Attorney General Rod] Rosenstein is involved in it, and Mueller is involved in it and [former FBI Director] James Comey. There’s some other people involved in this whole Clinton-Obama-Russia uranium thing. That’s the real collusion. The idea that 20 percent of America’s uranium ends up in Russian hands going through middlemen associated with the Clinton Foundation, donors, this clown in Canada? And there had been collusion – and during the Obama administration – for this to have happened. I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if one of the things being done is to cover all of that up with this investigation.”

After Mueller left his position as FBI director in 2013, Comey took over the Russia uranium case. He is now a key witness. And Rosenstein, then-U.S. attorney, supervised the case.

Limbaugh also addressed the uranium scandal during his Oct. 20 show, accusing Democrats of attempting to cover up the “fusion collusion.”

He asked his audience: “Do you think Donald Trump would be impeached if he had received millions of dollars from Putin front groups, if he had given away uranium, if he had shut up a whistleblowing FBI agent, and if he had colluded with Republican opposition research companies? Do you think Trump would be impeached?”

Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton has been busy blaming President Trump and Fox News, claiming controversy surrounding the uranium deal with Russia has been “debunked”:

She told C-Span: “I would say it’s the same baloney they’ve been peddling for years, and there’s been no credible evidence by anyone. In fact, it’s been debunked repeatedly and will continue to be debunked.

“But here is what they are doing and I have to give them credit. Trump and his allies, including Fox News, are really experts at distraction and diversion. So the closer the investigation about real Russian ties between Trump associates and real Russians, as we heard Jeff Sessions finally admit to in his testimony the other day, the more they want to just throw mud on the wall. I’m their favorite target. Me and President Obama, we are the ones they like to put in the crosshairs.”

Sessions unleashes task force on MS-13

(WASHINGTON TIMES) — Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced Monday that he’s designated the MS-13 street gang as a priority for the Justice Department’s Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces — enabling authorities to target the gang with a broader array of federal resources.

“Now they will go after MS-13 with a renewed vigor and a sharpened focus,” Mr. Sessions said Monday as he addressed the International Association of Chiefs of police conference in Philadelphia. “Just like we took Al Capone off the streets with our tax laws, we will use whatever laws we have to get MS-13 off of our streets.”

The priority designation will instruct federal agencies such as the IRS, FBI, Drug Enforcement Administration and Immigration and Customs Enforcement to target the El Salvador-based gang not just with drug laws but also tax, racketeering and firearms laws.
